But for those who have oily skin, face masks are better applied three to four times a week to keep breakouts and oil production a rest. Now for those who have dry skin, face masks that hydrate can be applied once a week for a much needed help. Other than the face masks, for other deep-cleansing regimens, limit it to once a month.

There are many organic ways on which you can make your own face masks. The following are short but helpful tips on how to make your homemade face masks.
a. Mayonnaise - Spread whole egg mayo on your face for 20 minutes then rinse with cool water.
b. Brandy and Peach - Using a ripe peach, mash it and mix it with a tablespoon of brandy. Apply on face for 20 minutes and rinse off.
c. Tomato - Face masks made of tomato are good for those who have oily skin. Mash up a ripe tomato and apply on face leaving it on for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water afterwards.
